Patricio Ku started working with Triangle in 2014. His work includes: presenting and facilitating workshops, contributing technical assistance to schools, and providing ways to promote equity around Seattle.
Patricio received a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Pitzer College and a M.Ed. from the University of Washington that included a certificate in Environment, Education, and Community through IslandWood.
He has worked in classrooms nationally and uses education to promote social justice. His experience includes teaching high school in New Orleans, researching environmental education, and working at a residential environmental education facility. During the summers he leads diverse backpacking trips in the North Cascades and Olympics through Boys Outdoor Leadership Development of the YMCA. He also works with EPOC Seattle (Environmental Professionals of Color) to advocate for equity in the workplace.
In his free time Patricio enjoys listening to and making music. He is also interested in mycology and is thrilled to live in the Pacific Northwest for its abundance of mushrooms.
