The Cube of Food made an appearance at the International Festival in SeaTac this summer, and King County's recycling characters (also known as Project Associates Jeremy DeWitt and Debbie Tully) were on hand to encourage community members to recycle more and create less waste.

 

 

Three new Project Associates have joined the Triangle team. Amanda Murphy is a recent graduate of the UW Graduate School of Marine Affairs and she has a solid background working with tribes. Alan Foster currently attends the Evans School at UW and will assist on public involvement projects for Triangle. And lastly Sean Trimble, also at the Evans School, has a graduate degree in Geology and extensive experience with CERCLA and Superfund sites.

 

Triangle Associates receives the Environmental Education Association of Washington's
2009 Award of Excellence for exemplary work in the field of environmental education.

Triangle helped facilitate a two day meeting at Fort Hall reservation between EPA Region 10 and the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Southeastern Idaho to improve communications with regard to ROD amendment activities at the Eastern Michaud Flats (EMF) Superfund Site.

Triangle was hired by the City of Kirkland to facilitate a workshop and develop an online toolkit for homeowners who live alongside Juanita Creek in Kirkland. Triangle involved students at Juanita Elementary who presented the do's and don'ts of streamside living.

Triangle welcomes its new neighbors, IslandWood and Homewaters, who now have offices right next door to us! IslandWood is a unique outdoor learning center on Bainbridge Island and the Homewaters Project creates engaging programs to connect citizens with the natural world. With all our shared interests, there is a strong chance for collaboration which is very exciting for all.
