Our Team • Alan Foster

Alan Foster initially joined Triangle Associates as an intern in June 2010 and has since been hired as a Project Associate. Alan is a communicator experienced in public outreach, stakeholder processes, multi-party communications, policy analysis, project management and program evaluation. He excels at communicating complex technical information using everyday language.

Alan currently provides facilitation support, project management support, and public involvement outreach on a number of projects in Washington and Oregon. In the office Alan writes project qualifications, proposals and project support materials including public involvement plans, meeting agendas, matrices for project data, and memorandums. Alan received a Master of Public Administration in June 2011 from the Evans School of Public Affairs, and he holds a BA from the Evergreen State College in American Studies and Philosophy. His Master’s thesis, Evaluating Alternative Dispute Resolution Projects: Review and Recommendations for the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, was presented at the 2011 University Network for Collaborative Governance Conference in Portland, OR.

In his free time Alan enjoys painting, studying philosophy, and finding tantalizing culinary experiences in Seattle and beyond.
