About Triangle
Our Team • Blake Trask

Associate Blake Trask specializes in facilitation and public involvement projects on topics that require solid analytical thinking, clear writing, and an ability to synthesize disparate topics effectively. At Triangle he manages facilitation projects involving watershed planning, salmon recovery, tribal water rights issues, and coastal resource management, as well as public involvement projects for regional trail systems and wastewater planning and design. Blake offers clients a fresh perspective on methods for engaging communities, resolving disputes, and developing action agendas to move projects forward.

Prior to joining Triangle Associates, Blake completed a master’s degree at the University of Washington School of Marine Affairs where he studied climate change and its effects on coastal watershed adaptation and resiliency. His ten-plus years of experience on environmental planning and policy issues – including climate change adaptation, scenario planning, water resource management, and environmental cleanup – provides Triangle projects with smart analysis and new approaches and ideas to complex science and policy issues. Most recently, he facilitated an expert panel on water resources, a neighborhood planning committee, and developed public involvement for a regional trail system.

Blake serves as chair of the Seattle Bicycyle Advisory Board. A fourth generation Northwesterner, he enjoys sailing, bicycling, and writing.
