Research Associate Blake Trask supports senior staff, helping with projects that demand solid analytical thinking, clear writing, and an ability to synthesize disparate topics effectively. He supports Triangle Associates in watershed planning, water rights negotiations, and salmon recovery planning.
Just prior to joining Triangle, Blake completed a Master’s Degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington. His interest in environmental issues have resulted in eight years of involvement on issues such as climate change, environmental planning, marine policy, community outreach, environmental cleanup, and transport policy. Examples include research on social adaptation and vulnerability to climate change in Pacific Northwest watersheds, managing scientific research crews on the Alaskan Arctic coastal plain, and coordinating public outreach, educational, and restoration events for non-profits in Washington and the Intermountain West.
A fourth generation Northwesterner, Blake enjoys visiting old and new haunts in Seattle, music, sailing, hiking, reading and writing.
