Education Specialist Debbie Tully spends most of her week on the road, presenting environmental workshops at secondary schools across King County. Debbie is renowned for her ability to engage students of all ages, getting them actively involved in topics such as waste reduction, recycling, resource conservation, over-consumption and biodiversity. When at the office, she provides behind the scenes support to delivering and evaluating hundreds of school programs including creating educational materials and providing project ideas for teachers.
Debbie has a strong background in Arts Education and Theatre. Originally from London, England, she has a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies. Upon graduating, Debbie worked extensively in theatre in education, both as a performer and director. Within Triangle, she helped create a new workshop, Act for Recycling, using the skills of improvisation and role play to encourage students to problem-solve and debate current issues of waste reduction and personal responsibility.
In her spare time, Debbie gets to jazzercise class as often as possible! She loves going to the theatre, live music and hanging out with the family.
