Program Associate Emily States spends most of her time working with the Education Team to market and schedule school assemblies and classroom workshops, making sure that the right presenter is in the right classroom on the right day.   Emily is adept at identifying new participants and has consistently reached or exceeded program targets for scheduling Triangle’s programs.  Skilled in Microsoft Access, she has also restructured program databases to increase efficiency and access to data reports needed by clients. 

Before Triangle, Emily worked with the Youth Tutoring Program, a small non-profit that provides free tutoring to youth living in public housing, the Seattle Audubon Society, and as a faculty research assistant.  Emily graduated from Seattle University in 2006 with a dual degree in Environmental Studies and Art History.

When away from work, Emily enjoys playing with her two dogs, Omar and Mogwai.
