Associate Erin Hislop is an experienced educator and project manager. Her expertise is in engaging students and adults from diverse backgrounds with a variety of learning styles in lively and interactive presentations, while promoting positive behavior change that will protect human health and the environment. She is known for her inventive programming that applies relevant learning standards to challenge students to interpret the effects of their daily decisions.
Since joining Triangle in 2005, Erin has taught, organized and developed lessons on a number of topics that tie directly to Grade Level Expectations (GLEs), including household hazardous products, water ecology, renewable energy, and climate change. She stays up to date with trends in behavior change and learning theory.
Her knowledge and expertise, along with her outgoing and friendly nature, have made her a favorite with teachers and schools who ask for her by name. Likewise, her presentations to parent groups on hazardous products and safer alternatives receive the highest accolades and parents consistently report making changes in their use and selection of products as a result of her work.
