About Triangle
Our Team • Jen Rydzewski

Project Associate Jen Rydzewski pursued her interests in biology and ecology by receiving a B.S. in Animal Sciences and an M.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

After years of leading wildlife education programs as a volunteer, she realized the importance of connecting youth with their environment. She became a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association for Interpretation in 2010, and since then has developed and presented a variety of environmental education and interpretive programs related to natural and cultural history and the environment, both indoors and outdoors. .

Since joining Triangle in 2011, Jen travels across Snohomish County visiting classrooms and teaching second through twelfth grade students about water quality and conservation. As a representative for the King County Green Schools Program, she coordinates with public and private schools and school districts to assess waste reduction and recycling practices, and to provide assistance and support in implementing conservation improvements. She is committed to involving community and engaging youth with environmental issues and positive decision-making.

In her free time, Jen enjoys actively exploring the great outdoors and the city, finding tasty ingredients at the farmers' markets to try in new recipes, and reading about exciting countries to visit someday!
