Associate Kristine Cramer is an experienced educator with a strong background in environmental and cultural education. Kristine emphasizes meeting her client’s needs while engaging students and teachers in relevant, thought-provoking, and interactive activities. Kristine provides design, development and implementation of classroom workshops and works with teachers to develop individualized projects that support environmental stewardship. Kristine also works with principals, custodians, teachers, and school district conservation managers to implement conservation strategies.
Prior to joining Triangle, Kristine worked in a variety of educational settings. As an outdoor educator, she taught natural and cultural history classes to fourth through sixth graders in central California. She also had her own classroom at a transfer station in Sonora, California where students learned about garbage, recycling, and other conservation strategies through interactive, hands-on activities.
Kristine has a Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Washington, where she studied land stewardship decision-making among family forest landowners in western Washington. When not at Triangle, Kristine can be found rollerblading, hiking, running or exploring the city with her husband Ray, son Carson, and daughter Sage. She also loves to canoe, and recently completed a trip of nearly 400 miles entirely above the Arctic Circle.
