Senior Consultant Rich McAllister joined Triangle Associates as a contracted senior consultant following a long career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he specialized in federal environmental law and its application in Indian country. As the Indian law contact for EPA Reg. 10, he worked extensively with the tribes and states in the Pacific Northwest and with EPA’s programs in Indian country. Rich has a wealth of experience working with multiple parties to achieve settlements such as in Superfund and enforcement matters. He has negotiated a wide range of successful agreements between tribes, states and others for working together to achieve environmental objectives. Trained as a mediator and facilitator, and having served as a Regional Judicial Officer, Rich brings to the table a well-informed neutral with a government background and legal skills, who can gain the trust of all the parties.
