Erin Hislop is an experienced educator and project manager. Her expertise is in engaging socially and culturally diverse audiences with a variety of outreach tools, while promoting positive behavior change that will protect human health and the environment. She is known for her inventive programming that applies relevant education standards to challenge students and community members to interpret the effects of their daily decisions. As a project manager, she provides strategic advice to clients and stakeholders to streamline services and meet program goals within budgets.
Since joining Triangle in 2005, Erin has worked with: students, parents, teachers, custodians, school administrators, and community members to help schools initiate and sustain conservation practices. She has developed and taught curricula on various topics that tie directly to common core and next generation science standards, including waste reduction and recycling, water conservation and pollution prevention, energy conservation and climate change.
Her knowledge and expertise, along with her outgoing and friendly nature, have made her a favorite with teachers and schools who ask for her by name. Her professionalism and attention to detail have helped her build strong working relationships with her clients and their partner agencies.
