Rachel Aronson joined Triangle in 2015 and supports Triangle’s public involvement and facilitation efforts. Rachel is passionate about engaging with constituents and communicating scientific and technical information through creative methods and clear language.
Rachel earned a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington where she completed a thesis on how Arctic place-based cultures experience climate change. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Biology and Hispanic Studies. Prior to joining Triangle, Rachel was the Marc Hershman Marine Policy Fellow at the Washington State Department of Ecology, where she worked on climate adaptation and coastal resilience.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys vegetable gardening with two different Seattle community gardens, backpacking and camping, paddle-boarding and traveling with her husband, Taylor.
