Triangle Associates Wins Woman-Owned Small Business of 2018 Award

At a recent breakfast ceremony, Triangle Associates, Inc. was honored to be named by the King County Executive as Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year.  Since its founding in in 1979, Triangle has been at the forefront of natural resources and built environment facilitation, mediation, public involvement and environmental education. Our close-knit team fosters a wide range of multi-jurisdictional conversations throughout the Northwest and educates thousands of school children annually. We would like to thank Executive Dow Constantine and King County for this special recognition. We look forward to continued work with local, state and federal governments, tribal governments, community leaders, and schools to build a more sustainable future.

**Fun fact: The U.S. Census Bureau’s 2007 Survey of Business Owners showed that women-owned businesses accounted for 28.7% of all non-farm U.S. businesses.  King County had the 14th highest percentage among all U.S. counties for women-owned businesses at 29%. Given this significant ownership percentage, this award recognizes the woman-owned business that has attained outstanding business achievement and exemplifies the significant contributions made by women-owned businesses in King County. Way to go women of King County!!
