We develop and facilitate waste reduction and recycling assemblies, classroom workshops, school-wide events, action project support and sustainability assistance for elementary, middle school and high schools.

Triangle designs and delivers waste reduction, recycling, and composting programs to more than 10,000 students each year in schools throughout Snohomish County, on behalf of Waste Management. These programs include an all-school assembly for elementary students as well as classroom workshops, family night outreach and technical and project assistance for elementary and middle school students and their families. In addition, Triangle technical assistance professionals help schools set up and sustain waste reduction and recycling practices. We accomplish this through site visits, student green team education, educational resource materials and supplies such as containers and signage.  The program also provides outreach at school-wide family nights to engage family members and encourage waste reduction at home.
