Kyra Nadir

Education and Outreach Specialist II

Kyra joined the Triangle team in 2024 as an Education and Outreach Specialist. She has a B.S. in Environmental Studies with an Outside Concentration in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  

After graduating, she moved to Seattle to complete an AmeriCorps term at an organization focused on outdoor leadership and environmental education. In this role, she worked closely with middle and high school Green Teams to develop student-led sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining Triangle, she was a teacher at an elementary after-school program. She is passionate about Environmental Justice, education, and helping kids develop their connection to their natural and built environments.  

Originally from Carlsbad, California, she likes to spend her free time getting to know Seattle and the Pacific Northwest (and traveling back to California when she misses it). She can be found going on walks with her dog, Zuzu, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
