Triangle conducted an assessment of the Olympic National Park and the Elwha S’Klallam Tribe to begin to resolve conflict surrounding the removal of the Elwha Dam.
Project Description
Triangle conducted mediation sessions regarding a dispute over mitigation expected by the Elwha S’Klallam Tribe after the removal of the Elwha Dam. Triangle conducted a conflict assessment of the National Park Service, Department of Interior, Elwha Tribal Council and other staff to explore options for addressing this dispute. Triangle maintained communications with the parties throughout the mediation, and mapped a path forward to resolve the conflict.
