Bainbridge Island Housing Action Plan Community Engagement

The City of Bainbridge Island developed a Housing Action Plan (HAP) to review housing policies and existing conditions and identify actions to promote more housing, housing diversity, and affordability.

Triangle supported the development of the HAP by conducting community engagement to better understand housing needs and preferences among community members. Triangle’s work included coordinating with key stakeholders to develop a Community Engagement Plan, conducting engagement activities, including an online survey, in-person intercept surveys, focus groups, and meetings with community-based organizations. Our work with community-based organizations in sharing the online survey resulted in 800 community survey responses and 170 business survey responses. Triangle developed a visual report summarizing feedback from community engagement activities.
